Saint Louis Saint Louis has some of the best schools around the nation, ranging from public and magnet schools, to private school, colleges and universities such as St. Louis University (SLU), University of Missouri (UMSL), Washington University (WU), Fontbone and Webster University. The city has many neighborhoods, of which some are still very authentic to their ancestral, cultural and lingual roots. There are great places to visit and great places to eat some of the best cuisine, among other kitchens: French, Italian, German, Irish, Bosnian, Russian, Greek, and Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian, African, Mexican, Brazilian, Jamaican and many others. Saint Louis is also a home to many attractions such as our famous Forest Park. One of the nation’s largest public parks which in itself houses our famous Saint Louis Zoo that is free to public, as well as our well known St. Louis Art Museum and City Museum also free of charge to the public. Some of the other attractions are: the Riverfront Arch, The Muni (open outdoor theater), the Fox Theater. Our city is also a proud sports city with the Rams football team housed at the Edward Jones Dome, The Cardinals Baseball Team housed at the Bush Stadium and our Blues Hockey Team housed at the Savvis Center (which is also a second home to Steamers our pro soccer club). Mehlville is very close to Saint Louis City but it is far enough for those who desire county living at an affordable price. Median age is 39 over 55% of people are married and have families. There are many things to do in Mehlville and South County for those families with kids. There are lots of family owned and chin restaurants, shopping centers (Central City South Shopping Center and Maple Hills Shopping Center) and parks (R-9 County Park and Union Road County Park among other city and county parks). Mehlville is also about 30 plus minute ride from Six Flags and Meramec Caverns. On the serious note, there are also many public and private school as well as places of worship for different denomination.
